Your username is your first initial, last initial, and zero-padded student ID at lmc.edu — for example, jd012345678@lmc.edu.

BIO 114 has a lab component and COM 101 is graded partly on delivered speeches and presentations — Silent Student handles the Brightspace quiz and written side of both, but the in-person work is yours. Everything else on this list submits in Brightspace, which it supports directly.
Brightspace hands off to Microsoft Entra ID, so you log in with your lmc.edu Microsoft 365 account — the same one used for email and the Montibus registration system. If your account is set up for multi-factor authentication, you approve the standard Microsoft prompt (most likely Microsoft Authenticator) yourself once; after that Silent Student keeps the session. The exact 2FA method isn't spelled out on Lees-McRae's public IT pages, so expect the normal Microsoft flow.
Anything graded inside Brightspace — intro courses like RHE 101 Rhetoric and Composition I, PSY 133 General Psychology, BIO 114 Introduction to Biology I, BUS 101 Introduction to Business, and COM 101 Speech and Oral Communication are all good fits. If you co-enroll at another school on a different LMS, you'd connect that one separately.
