Which schools does Silent Student work with?
Silent Student runs on Canvas and D2L Brightspace, so the LMS is rarely the problem. What actually decides whether it is useful to you is the courseware your specific courses run on — and that varies by school, by section and by term. This table shows what we solve and what we don't at 14 schools we have compiled in detail, including the platforms where the honest answer is no.

What these ratings are. Each row is compiled from that university's own published materials — course catalogues, syllabi and IT pages. None of it is an end-to-end test of Silent Student at that institution, and "courses fully covered" counts only the handful of high-enrollment courses we looked at, not the whole catalogue. Treat it as a starting point for checking your own schedule.
The LMS is easy. The courseware is the question.
What we solve
Native Canvas and Brightspace work — quizzes, discussions, essays and file uploads — plus dedicated solvers for Cengage MindTap, WebAssign, McGraw Hill SmartBook, myBusinessCourse, Packback and Apex. McGraw Hill Connect problem sets and ALEKS have no dedicated solver.
What we don't
Pearson MyLab and Mastering, ALEKS, CengageNOWv2, Macmillan Achieve, ATI, and in-house university systems like UT Quest and UH's CASA. These fall back to a general screenshot-driven agent, which is slower and refers far more to your review queue.
What we never touch
Proctored and lockdown-browser exams are outside what this software automates, and nothing here is designed around defeating academic-integrity tooling. Written work is drafted for you to read and edit, not handed in blind.

What waits for you and what doesn't. Written work in Canvas or Brightspace — essays, discussion posts and file uploads — is always saved as a draft for you to read, edit and approve, and is never submitted on its own. Work on external courseware has no draft step: platforms like Packback publish as the solver writes them. Quizzes use a separate review hold, and only on Canvas.
