UD FAQ
UD's IT page says your Brightspace sign-in uses an encrypted password you manage yourself that is separate from other UD systems — you set it from an email sent at the start of each term, not your UD Google email or Microsoft 365 password. Silent Student signs in with those Brightspace credentials and keeps the session on your device. The login page is a standard D2L username/password form.
Many UD students pick up transfer or summer credits elsewhere. If your other school runs Brightspace or Canvas — like Blinn College, Lone Star College, or Houston Community College — Silent Student connects to it the same way and works that queue too.
University of Dallas issues a Brightspace password separately from other UD systems — its IT page says so explicitly, and you set it from an email at the start of each term. It is not your UD Google or Microsoft 365 password, and Silent Student needs that Brightspace credential specifically.
