What Silent Student does
Silent Student is a desktop app for macOS and Windows. It connects to a student’s own Canvas or D2L Brightspace account and completes supported assignments autonomously. That includes quizzes, essays, discussions, and file uploads inside the LMS.
The app also works with supported external courseware reached through the LMS: WebAssign, Apex Learning, Cengage, McGraw Hill, Packback, and myBusinessCourse. Silent Student runs locally on the user’s machine while using online AI processing for the assignment content needed to complete work.
Supported workflows cover work that stays inside Canvas or D2L Brightspace and work that opens a connected courseware service. The same desktop app handles both paths across the supported systems listed above.
