Who can see a Savvas Realize answer key?
Teachers. Savvas’s getting-started guides for teachers put the keys next to the teaching materials:
- In an enVision A|G|A lesson quiz: “Click Teacher resources to see the Editable and PDF versions of the quiz as well as the Answer Key.”
- At the course level, “Show teacher resources” lists items including “Selected Answers.” The same teacher guide lists “Answers & Solutions” and “ExamView Download” in the Tools menu.
- In Savvas Health: “Click Teacher Resources when available to find additional resources such as video support and answer keys.”
The student guide never mentions an answer key. It lists what a student uses instead: “Browse or Programs” for the content your teacher selected, “Classes or Assignments” for the work assigned to you, and “Grades” to “See how you’ve done on your assignments and tests.”
Why don’t Savvas Realize answers online match your assignment?
Because your teacher shapes what you get. Savvas’s teacher guides describe three things that make a posted key unreliable:
- Assignments are customized. The assign window “helps you customize the assignment by adding a due date and instructions and specifying the students who will complete the activity.”
- Teachers add their own work. Under Create Content, a teacher can “Add your own content by uploading a file, adding a link, or building a test.”
- Each program has its own materials. The keys sit inside each program’s teacher resources, lesson by lesson, so a key for one program or edition belongs to that program.
So a file called “Savvas Realize answer key grade 7” may come from a different program, edition or teacher-built test. That conclusion is ours, drawn from how Savvas describes the platform.
What does Savvas Realize show you after you submit?
Your score and the areas to work on. The student guide’s steps for a test end with: “Click Submit test to send it to your teacher. You cannot make changes after you submit. For auto-scored tests, you will see a Summary Score and areas where you need more practice after you submit.”
| Where | What you see | Source |
|---|---|---|
| After an auto-scored test | “A Summary Score and areas where you need more practice” | Student guide |
| Grades tab | “The graph shows all assignments automatically graded by the system. Click a bar to see how you did on each one.” | Student guide |
| Each assignment | “Click individual assignments to see your scores and feedback from your teacher.” | Student guide |
| The questions, after a test | Only if your teacher allows it. Savvas lets teachers “restrict student access to questions after an assessment has been taken.” | Savvas training, January 10, 2024 |
Work a teacher reads waits for the teacher. Of notes in an assigned book, the student guide says: “If this book was assigned to you, your teacher will see your work.”
What does Savvas Realize record?
Scores, completion and time. A Savvas teacher guide lists the reports on the Data tab:
- “Mastery—shows test scores and standards skill mastery for the class and individual students”
- “Progress—identifies which students have completed an assignment”
- “Usage—shows time spent on assignments”
The same guide says “Individual student information is also available by clicking a student’s name.” If your class reaches Realize through Canvas, Savvas says that once work is graded or auto-scored, “Savvas Realize passes the grade back to your Canvas Gradebook.”
How can you get honest help with Savvas Realize?
- Use the materials in your class first. The student guide says the Classes tab “lists your assignments and gives you access to texts, videos, and games.”
- Use the tools in the digital book. “Click a glossary word to display the definition,” and “Some books have videos. Click play to watch the video before you read.”
- After an auto-scored test, work on the “areas where you need more practice” that Realize lists with your Summary Score.
- Ask your teacher. They have the key and the item results, so they can show you where an answer went wrong.
- For how-to questions, the student guide points to Realize Help for Students.
Where Silent Student fits
We make Silent Student, a desktop app for Mac and Windows from El Dorado Ignition LLC. It has no Savvas answer key and doesn’t make one. It opens Savvas Realize from an assignment link in your Canvas course, answers each question with its general vision agent (there is no solver written for Realize), reads the page back after each one, and then presses Realize’s own Turn In.
- Its answers, scores and time land in Realize’s reports as yours. It does not hide or change them.
- It does not take proctored or lockdown tests, and it can’t upload files. Drawing, graphing and drag-heavy items are its weakest, and a submitted test can’t be changed.
- It is built for college Canvas courses. Savvas makes K-12 curriculum, and Silent Student accounts are for ages 13 and up. Google Classroom isn’t supported.
- We have published no Savvas run, so we publish no Savvas accuracy figure. Plans are $11.99, $24.99 or $49.99 a month, with no free plan.
Savvas’s Terms. The Savvas Terms of Use, last updated March 10, 2025, cover savvas.com “and its related applications and services.” They say no user may “gather, obtain, use, access or otherwise copy any part of the Site by using any bot, spider, crawler, spy ware, engine, device, software or any other automatic device, utility or manual process of any kind.” They also say the usage terms of Savvas products may differ from them, and we could not find separate public Terms for Realize. In our reading, the bot clause reaches Silent Student. We are not lawyers, so read the Terms yourself. Your school’s policy applies too, and under Silent Student’s Terms (section 5) you are responsible for both.

How this guide was made. We read each Savvas page listed above on October 20, 2026 and quote them directly. The teacher guides we quote are program-specific Digital Path handouts; where your program’s menus differ, its own teacher guide applies. The point that a posted key may not match your class is our inference. We wrote the guide with AI assistance and checked each quote against its source.
