Is there a Quizizz (Wayground) answer key?

Short answer: not a fixed one you can use. Quizizz is now called Wayground, and its settings let teachers shuffle questions and answer options for each student, rotate question sets so “learners see a unique combination of questions each attempt,” and assign easier or harder versions of one quiz. Whether you see correct answers at all depends on your teacher’s settings.

Quizizz Inc. now does business as Wayground, a change it confirmed in June 2025. Every quote below comes from Wayground’s help center or its Terms, checked October 20, 2026. This guide is not affiliated with Wayground or Quizizz Inc.

Is Quizizz now Wayground?

Yes. Wayground’s help center says “Quizizz has a new name: Wayground,” that the website “has moved from quizizz.com to wayground.com,” and that “Quizizz Inc. is still the legal entity.” Old join links such as joinmyquiz.com “continue to work.” A letter from Quizizz Inc. dated June 5, 2025, linked from that help article, confirms it filed “a Doing Business As (DBA) for the name ‘Wayground.’” Wayground’s Terms now describe “The Wayground platform (formerly Quizizz).” So a Quizizz answer key and a Wayground answer key are the same question.

Why don’t Quizizz answer lists match your quiz?

Because one quiz can look different for each student. Wayground’s session settings give teachers these options:

  • Shuffle questions. “When ON, each learner sees questions in a different order to reduce cheating.”
  • Shuffle answers. When it is on, “answer options are shuffled for each learner so each sees a different order of options.”
  • Rotating Question Sets. A teacher chooses how many questions each attempt shows, “for example, 8 out of 30,” and “Each attempt will show a unique set.”
  • Differentiated Versions. Teachers can assign “differentiated versions of the same Assessment/Quiz with varying difficulty levels and fewer questions.”

So a list of “Quizizz answers” copied from someone else’s session may come in a different order, from a different set or from an easier or harder version. That is our inference from the settings above.

When does Wayground show you the correct answers?

Only when your teacher’s settings allow it. These settings decide what you see:

Wayground settings that control whether students see correct answers
SettingOptionsWhat students see
Show answer after each questionOff, Validate only, OnOff: learners “do not see whether they were correct immediately and are not shown the correct answer.” Validate only: whether the answer was correct, “but not the correct answer when incorrect.” On: “whether their answer was correct and the correct answer.”
Show all answers after sessionOn, Questions only, OffOn: “Learners can review questions and correct answers.” Questions only: “not which answers are correct.” Off: “Learners cannot review questions or answers after the session.”
AI Answer Explanations (beta)On or off“personalized, step-by-step explanations for incorrect answers.” Turning it on also turns on showing answers during the activity.
Redemption QuestionsOn or offSessions “include at least 1 incorrectly answered question at the end.”

Wayground files “Show all answers after session” under its anti-cheating settings. If your teacher has it off, you won’t see a key after the quiz either. All of the settings above are described in Wayground’s Navigate Session Settings article.

Who can see a Quizizz answer key?

Teachers. On a resource page, a teacher can preview a question and “click on the ‘Show answers’ button.” When printing a quiz as a worksheet, a teacher can “toggle on the ‘Answer keys’ option to include the answer key on the last page of the worksheet.” That printed key comes from the teacher’s side. In the Wayground help articles we read, we found none that gives students an answer key.

Reports show the teacher your answers too. In a report’s Overview tab, “Correct answers are marked in green, incorrect answers are marked in red,” and a teacher “can hover over each question to view a student’s response to it, along with the time taken to respond.”

What does Wayground record during a quiz?

From Wayground’s help articles on reports and session settings:

Each response and its timeA teacher can view “a student’s response to it, along with the time taken to respond.”Reports on Wayground
Accuracy, points and scoreThe Participants tab shows “the accuracy, points, and scores earned by each of your students.”Reports on Wayground

Late work“Late responses are clearly marked as submitted late in the session report.”Session settings
Leaving the quizTeachers are notified when a student tries to “switch tabs, copy content, resize the window, right-click, or use web extensions,” and “you’ll always get alerts for these actions on the live dashboard and Reports page, even if the Anti-Cheating Monitor is turned off.”Anti-Cheating Monitor

When the Anti-Cheating Monitor is on, students “are required to stay in full-screen mode throughout the session,” and a student the teacher removes is “graded 0 points by default.” With the Canvas integration, Wayground says grades “are automatically synced to Canvas” when students complete the session.

How can you get honest help on Quizizz?

  1. If your teacher shows answers after each question, read the correct answer on a miss before you move on.
  2. Use Redemption Questions and reattempts when they appear. In Accuracy mode you rework missed questions until you reach the teacher’s goal of “80%, 90%, or 100%.”
  3. If AI Answer Explanations are on, read the panel that opens after a miss, then use “Reattempt.”
  4. Review the quiz afterwards when “Show all answers after session” is on.
  5. Ask your teacher. The report shows them which questions you missed and what you chose.

Where Silent Student fits

We make Silent Student, a desktop app for Mac and Windows from El Dorado Ignition LLC. It has no Quizizz or Wayground answer key and doesn’t make one. On Wayground it uses its general vision agent, not a solver written for Wayground: it opens a homework quiz your teacher linked in Canvas, answers each question by matching choices by their text, and reads the page back before the next one.

  • Every answer it enters is saved in Wayground’s report as your response, with its time. It does not hide from, switch off or work around the Anti-Cheating Monitor or any other monitoring. A quiz with the monitor on is one your teacher meant you to take alone, so take it yourself.
  • It does not play live games, it is not built for speed on timed questions, and it starts only from Canvas. Google Classroom isn’t supported.
  • It is built for college Canvas courses, and Silent Student accounts are for ages 13 and up. If you are in a K-12 class, check your school’s rules on AI tools first.
  • We have published no Wayground run, so we publish no Wayground accuracy figure, and its answers can be wrong. Plans are $11.99, $24.99 or $49.99 a month, with no free plan. It runs on a Mac with Apple Silicon (macOS 13 or later) or a 64-bit PC on Windows 10 or later.

Wayground’s Terms. Wayground’s Terms and Conditions of Use, updated June 9, 2026, list among prohibited activity “any automated use of the system, such as, but not limited to, using scripts to create or post Content.” They also say Wayground “reserves the right to investigate and take appropriate legal action against anyone who” violates that provision. In our reading, the automated-use clause reaches Silent Student. We are not lawyers, so read the Terms yourself. Your school’s academic-integrity policy applies too, and under Silent Student’s Terms (section 5) you are responsible for both.

Questions people ask

Is there a Quizizz answer key PDF?

Only the kind a teacher prints. Wayground lets teachers include “the answer key on the last page of the worksheet” when they print a quiz. A student taking the quiz online gets no key, and shuffled or rotating questions mean someone else’s list may not match.

Can teachers see your Quizizz answers?

Yes. Wayground’s reports let a teacher hover over each question “to view a student’s response to it, along with the time taken to respond.”

How do you see correct answers on Quizizz?

Only if your teacher allows it. With “Show answer after each question” on, you see the correct answer after each one. With “Show all answers after session” on, you can review questions and correct answers at the end.

Is Quizizz the same as Wayground?

Yes. Wayground’s help center says “Quizizz has a new name: Wayground,” the site moved from quizizz.com to wayground.com, and Quizizz Inc. is still the legal entity.

Does Wayground tell teachers when you switch tabs?

Yes. Wayground says teachers get alerts for tab switches and similar actions on the live dashboard and Reports page “even if the Anti-Cheating Monitor is turned off.”

Does Silent Student give you Quizizz answers?

No. It has no Quizizz or Wayground answer key. Its agent works each question on your screen and submits it in your account, where Wayground records the response as yours. Wayground’s Terms bar automated use, so read them first.
