i-Ready lessons teach, then ask questions. The agent answers the questions it can read and checks that i-Ready accepted each one.
i-Ready's personalized lessons are interactive and full of animation. When they are linked from Canvas, Silent Student can work the questions in them. The Diagnostic decides your lessons, so it stays yours.

Multiple-choice and typed-number answers suit the agent best. Choices are matched by their text, not their position.
The agent can drag one listed item onto another and checks that it moved. Free-form dragging on a picture is not something it does.
Some schools link i-Ready into Canvas. The agent follows that link; if your school signs you in through Clever or ClassLink, the app supports that sign-in.
Typing an answer is not the same as the platform accepting it. After each entry the agent re-reads the live page, so an answer that did not take is caught and retried instead of counted.
A run that turned the work in and saw the platform's confirmation says so. A run that saved some answers and then got stuck is reported as partial, with the remaining part named, never as done.
Open the Silent Student desktop app, find the i-Ready assignment in your Canvas course list, and queue it like any other.
The app follows the lesson's link out of Canvas and lands in i-Ready. It does not ask for or type your password.
The vision agent reads each question from a screenshot and the page's controls, answers it, and reads the page back before the lesson continues.
It uses the platform's own submit or completion control and marks the run confirmed only when the platform shows it. If it had to stop early, the log says which part is still yours.
i-Ready is heavily interactive. Expect more stops here than on a plain quiz.
i-Ready runs on the general vision agent, not a solver written for its interface, and we have not yet published a recorded run on it. Expect it to be less predictable than our dedicated platforms, and check the run log for what it did.
The i-Ready Diagnostic decides which lessons you get. The agent does not recognise a Diagnostic, so don't queue one; an inflated result gives you lessons you are not ready for.
Lessons built around dragging, drawing or timed animations are the hardest case for a screen-reading agent. Expect some runs to stop partway, with the log saying where.
Teaching parts of a lesson play at their own pace. The agent does not speed them up.
Don't queue it. The Diagnostic sets your learning path, and the agent does not recognise one. Take it yourself.
i-Ready records time spent, lessons passed and your answers, and your teacher can see it. Silent Student does not hide, disguise or fake any of that. It runs in a normal browser on your computer, signed in as you, and whether using it is allowed is decided by your class or school policy.
Not guaranteed. i-Ready lessons are interactive, and drag-heavy or animated parts are the weakest case. If a run stops, the log says what is left.
