Why don’t Delta Math answers from the internet match your problems?
Because DeltaMath draws a fresh problem each time. Its homepage says problems are randomized, and its help page on printing says “questions are randomly printed from DeltaMath question banks.” Even a teacher’s printed copy and the online version of the same assignment “will likely have different questions,” unless the teacher uses Assign THIS Problem, after which “Students will now receive the same problems whether they’re working from the digital assignment or the PDF.”
So a list titled “delta math answers key equations” or “deltamath answers fractions” solves someone else’s numbers. That conclusion is ours, drawn from DeltaMath’s own description. DeltaMath doesn’t comment on outside lists.
Shared lists run into the same problem on other sites. Khan Academy exercises draw on a question bank (see Is there a Khan Academy answer key?), and MATHia’s Mastery workspaces adapt to each student’s work (see Is there a MATHia answer key?). On Wayground, formerly Quizizz, teachers can shuffle and rotate questions for each student, as Is there a Quizizz (Wayground) answer key? explains.
Does DeltaMath show you the answer?
Often, and your teacher picks when. The Solutions Shown setting has four options, quoted from DeltaMath’s help center:
| Solutions Shown | What DeltaMath says students see |
|---|---|
| Yes | “Students will see a step-by-step solution after submitting an answer to each question.” |
| On incorrect only | “Students will see a step-by-step solution only when they answer a question incorrectly.” |
| On correct only | “Students will see a step-by-step solution only when they answer a question correctly.” |
| No | “Students will not see a step-by-step solution after submitting their answer.” |
There are videos too. “Each skill in DeltaMath has an embedded instructional video,” and teachers set it to Visible or Hidden for each assignment. DeltaMath’s homepage says that “With DeltaMath PLUS or INTEGRAL, students also get access to help videos.”
Does a wrong answer lower your DeltaMath grade?
No. DeltaMath’s help says “A student’s grade is based on their ‘High Score’ and will not decrease when answering questions incorrectly.” A miss still costs points on your current score: the Penalty, 1 point by default, “is the amount subtracted from a student’s score for each incorrectly solved question.” Full credit comes when your high score reaches the Required number, 5 by default. Your teacher can also allow more than one attempt per question, or cap the total with Max problems, which the help page says can keep a student from reaching 100%.
Is there a DeltaMath answer key for teachers?
Yes, for printed assignments. DeltaMath’s print feature “allows teachers to download any DeltaMath assignment as a PDF,” with an optional key: “The answer key displays the final answer only, not the step-by-step solutions.” A teacher can give students solutions to a printed assignment through a QR code, set to No, Yes or Answer Key Only, and can hold them until a set date and time. Students sign in to DeltaMath to see them.
Online, teachers don’t need a key. DeltaMath’s student data view shows “the exact question the student was given, the correct answer, and the student’s answer,” and if multiple attempts are allowed, “you will see each attempt listed.”
What does DeltaMath record?
Each answer, with its time. From DeltaMath’s help center:
| What is recorded | What DeltaMath says | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Every submitted question | “The problem log displays a running list of every question submitted by your students,” covering the last two months and not timed modules. | Problem logs |
| Time per question | Hovering over a result shows “how long the student spent solving the question or watching the help video.” | Student data view |
| Help videos watched | An icon “Indicates the student watched a help video” (PLUS or INTEGRAL). | Student data view |
| Last activity | The last login and the last time a student submitted an answer. | Student last action |
| Timed work | “The timer will continue running regardless of whether students log out or become inactive.” | Assignment settings |
| Late work | With no late date, past-due work stays open, “but the grade will not increase.” | Due and late dates |
On tests, DeltaMath’s help says “DeltaMath does not have a lockdown browser at this time.” Teachers secure tests with a time limit, a passcode and Restrict Other Assignments, which DeltaMath says “is not a lockdown browser.”
How can you get honest help with Delta Math?
- Read the step-by-step solution when it appears, then do the next randomized problem the same way. Your grade won’t drop for trying.
- Watch the skill’s video if your teacher made it visible.
- Ask your teacher to change Solutions Shown, or to add a late date if you missed the due date. They can see each question you got and what you entered, so they can see where you went wrong.
- New to DeltaMath? Its FAQ says students have the Intro to DeltaMath Video, which “introduces them to DeltaMath’s interface and scoring system.”
Where Silent Student fits
We make Silent Student, a desktop app for Mac and Windows from El Dorado Ignition LLC. It has no DeltaMath answer key and doesn’t make one. Its general vision agent, not a solver written for DeltaMath, opens the assignment from your Canvas course, types each answer into DeltaMath’s math input, submits it and reads DeltaMath’s check before the next problem.
- Each problem it works is saved in DeltaMath’s problem log and student data under your name, with the time spent. It does not hide or fake any activity on DeltaMath.
- Graphing is its weakest type, and its answers can be wrong. It does not take DeltaMath tests, timed skills, geometric constructions or proctored tests.
- It reaches DeltaMath only when your Canvas course links to it. It is built for college students in Canvas courses, and Silent Student accounts are for ages 13 and up.
- We have published no DeltaMath run, so we publish no DeltaMath accuracy figure. Plans are $11.99, $24.99 or $49.99 a month, with no free plan.
DeltaMath’s Terms. DeltaMath’s Terms of Service, effective December 12, 2024, say you agree not to “use any automated system, including but not limited to ‘robots,’ ‘spiders,’ ‘offline readers,’ etc., to access the Services in a manner that sends more request messages to the DeltaMath servers than a human can reasonably produce in the same period of time by using a conventional online web browser,” and not to “copy, distribute, or disclose any part of the Services in any medium.” We are not lawyers, so read the Terms yourself. Your teacher’s rules and your school’s academic-integrity policy apply whatever the Terms say, and under Silent Student’s Terms (section 5) you are responsible for following them.

Questions people ask
Is there a DeltaMath answer key for equations or fractions?
Not one that matches your problems. DeltaMath says its problems are randomized, so a key from another student’s set has different numbers. The official route is the step-by-step solution DeltaMath shows when your teacher’s Solutions Shown setting allows it.
Does DeltaMath show the answer if you get it wrong?
It depends on your teacher. With Solutions Shown set to Yes or On incorrect only, you see a step-by-step solution after a wrong answer. Set to No, you don’t.
Does a wrong answer lower your DeltaMath grade?
No. DeltaMath says the grade is based on your High Score and will not decrease when you answer incorrectly. A miss does subtract the Penalty, 1 point by default, from your current score on the skill.
Can teachers see your DeltaMath answers?
Yes. DeltaMath’s student data view shows the exact question, the correct answer and the student’s answer, each attempt, and how long each question took.
What does no late credit mean on Delta Math?
Your teacher set a due date and no late date. DeltaMath’s help says past-due work stays open, “but the grade will not increase.” A late date, if your teacher adds one, allows partial credit.
Does DeltaMath have a lockdown browser?
No. DeltaMath’s help center says “DeltaMath does not have a lockdown browser at this time.” Teachers can use a time limit, a passcode and Restrict Other Assignments instead.
Does Silent Student do DeltaMath tests?
No. It does not take DeltaMath tests, timed skills or proctored tests. Take those yourself.

How this guide was made. We read each DeltaMath page listed above on October 20, 2026 and quote them directly. The point that outside answer lists won’t match your problems is our inference from DeltaMath’s statement that problems are randomized. We wrote the guide with AI assistance and checked each quote against its source.
