Is there an i-Ready answer key?

Not for your lessons. i-Ready (also written iReady or i Ready) builds each student’s path from their own results: Curriculum Associates says My Path lessons “are assigned to your student based on their latest results on the i-Ready Inform assessment.” The i-Ready answer keys that do exist sit in Teacher Toolbox, which its terms say is “intended for use by teachers and school administrators only.”

Every quote below comes from Curriculum Associates, the company that makes i-Ready: its guide for families, family pages, support FAQ and i-Ready terms, checked October 20, 2026. This guide is not affiliated with Curriculum Associates.

Why don’t iReady answers from the internet match your lessons?

Because i-Ready is built to be different for each student. Curriculum Associates’ July 2026 guide for families describes its two parts:

  • i-Ready Inform, formerly the i-Ready Diagnostic, “Is an adaptive assessment that adjusts its questions to suit your student’s instructional level.” The guide adds: “Each item a student sees is individualized based on their answer to the previous question.”
  • i-Ready Personalized Instruction gives students “engaging, interactive online lessons tailored to their individual skill level.” My Path lessons come from the latest Inform results, and Teacher-Assigned Lessons “will only appear as a choice on the screen if a teacher has manually assigned lessons.”

Curriculum Associates’ support FAQ says i-Ready “builds a unique lesson plan with a starting point for each learner based on their individual results.” So a file labeled “i Ready answer key 5th grade” or “iReady answers level F” was made from someone else’s path, or from teacher material that wasn’t meant to be posted. That reading is ours. Curriculum Associates doesn’t comment on outside answer lists.

MATHia is built the same way. Carnegie Learning says its Mastery workspaces adapt to each student’s needs, so the problems you get depend on your own work (see Is there a MATHia answer key?). Khan Academy exercises also draw on a question bank, and teachers can give each student a different set (see Is there a Khan Academy answer key?).

Is there an answer key for i-Ready Inform (the Diagnostic)?

No, and one would work against you. Inform is the test that sets your lessons. The family guide says “a series of correct answers will result in slightly harder questions, while a series of incorrect answers will yield slightly easier questions,” and Curriculum Associates’ family page says it is designed “to find the precise edge of what your child knows, not just confirm what they’ve already learned.” In our reading, outside answers would place you at the wrong level, and My Path would then assign lessons from that placement.

When you finish, “their teacher has access to your student’s results,” and the teacher may share them with families through a For Families Report. To see what a score means for your grade, use our i-Ready score chart.

What does i-Ready show you about your own work?

Your lesson results, on the My Progress page. The family guide lists what students and families see there:

What the i-Ready My Progress page shows, in Curriculum Associates' words
My Progress itemCurriculum Associates’ description
Time-On-Task“The number of minutes your student has spent this week (Monday–Sunday) on i-Ready Personalized Instruction”
Lessons Passed“The total number of lessons your student has passed this school year”
Lesson Streak“How many lessons your student has passed in a row”
Completed Work“The name and quiz score for each lesson your student has taken”

A lesson is passed on its quiz. Curriculum Associates recommends that students spend “30–49 minutes per subject per week in lessons with a 70%+ lesson pass rate,” and its tips sheet for lessons at home says: “If they don’t pass a lesson, remind them they can take it again.” Some lessons also have built-in tools. The guide tells families to remind students to “use the tools that appear at the bottom of the screen in some lessons.”

Who can see i-Ready answer keys?

Teachers and school administrators. i-Ready’s Digital Products Terms and Conditions of Use, last updated July 17, 2026, are an agreement between Curriculum Associates and the school or district, and their section on Teacher Toolbox is direct:

“Teacher Toolbox is intended for use by teachers and school administrators only.”

The same section says the teacher materials “include assessments and answers to assignments.” Teachers may post student-facing pages to a password-protected learning management system, but “posting of teacher-facing materials is prohibited.” The terms say the Teacher Toolbox PDFs hold content from Curriculum Associates’ “proprietary i-Ready Classroom and Ready curriculum materials.” If your class works from those printed books, the answer key is teacher material, so the person to ask is your teacher.

Savvas Realize keeps its answer keys on the teacher side too, in Teacher Resources (see Is there a Savvas Realize answer key?).

What does i-Ready record?

Your time, your lesson results and your Inform scores, all tied to your login. Time-On-Task counts your minutes each week, and Completed Work keeps every lesson’s quiz score. The family guide asks students to take “each lesson and quiz question seriously” and says “just clicking through will not be a productive use of their time nor reflect what they actually know.”

On AI, Curriculum Associates says its i-Ready Assessment and Personalized Instruction products “do not contain generative AI functionality for educators or students.” That describes i-Ready itself, not outside tools.

How can you get real help with i-Ready lessons?

  1. Retake the lesson. Curriculum Associates’ tips say a student who doesn’t pass “can take it again.”
  2. Slow down. The same tips say to “take their time, ask questions, and write things down,” and the family guide suggests paper and pencil for math problems.
  3. Ask your teacher. The family guide tells families to ask the teacher “for specific ideas tied to the skills your student is building,” and Teacher-Assigned Lessons come from them.
  4. Use the Family Center. Families open it from For Families on the student dashboard for “helpful tools and resources.”
  5. Check what your school expects. “Some schools assign i-Ready lessons to be completed at home; others use it exclusively during school hours.”

Where Silent Student fits

We make Silent Student, a desktop app for Mac and Windows from El Dorado Ignition LLC. It has no i-Ready answer key and doesn’t make one. Its general vision agent, not a solver written for i-Ready, can open an i-Ready lesson linked from your Canvas course and answer the questions it can read, checking that i-Ready took each one.

  • It does not take i-Ready Inform, formerly the Diagnostic. The score that sets your lessons should be your own, and the agent does not recognize the assessment, so don’t queue it.
  • Animated and drag-heavy lessons are its weakest case, and its answers can be wrong. Quiz scores, lessons passed and Time-On-Task are recorded under your login whoever does the work.
  • It does not run in the i-Ready Connect for Students iPad app or on a Chromebook. i-Ready is used mostly in grades K–8, Silent Student is built for college students in Canvas courses, and Silent Student accounts are for ages 13 and up.
  • We have published no i-Ready run, so we publish no i-Ready accuracy figure. Plans are $11.99, $24.99 or $49.99 a month, with no free plan.

i-Ready’s terms. i-Ready’s Terms and Conditions of Use, last updated July 17, 2026, are an agreement with your school. Under Limitations on Use, the school may not let its users “use any features or functionalities of the Digital Products with external applications, scripts, or code that may interfere with the operation of the Digital Products or pose a security risk,” or “engage in scraping, data mining, or automated extraction of CA’s content within the Digital Products.” Whether that covers an agent like ours is for your school to decide, so ask before you use one. We are not lawyers. Your school’s rules apply to you directly, and under Silent Student’s Terms (section 5) you are responsible for following them.
