Apex Vision AI is a Chrome extension with iOS and Android apps. You highlight a question or upload a photo, and it returns an answer with step-by-step reasoning in a pop-up or side panel. You type or select the answer and submit the work yourself. It says it works in “virtually any LMS in your browser,” including Canvas, Blackboard, Moodle, Top Hat, McGraw Hill and Pearson, and that it doesn’t ask for your school password.
Plans are $7.99, $14.99 and $19.99 a month for 500, 1,000 and 2,000 requests, and there is a free tier of 30 requests plus a refill every 12 hours. The app runs its own browser, syncs your courses and works each assignment in due-date order: Canvas quizzes, essays, discussions and file uploads, plus the homework platforms your courses open, like WebAssign, MindTap, McGraw Hill Connect, Pearson MyLab and Macmillan Achieve. It fills in the answers and submits, and you can hold drafts for review first. It doesn’t take proctored exams. Plans are $11.99, $24.99 and $49.99 a month, with no free tier.
