Solvely review: what Solvely AI does, what it costs, and Silent Student
Solvely is an AI homework helper from Aignite Inc. that answers questions you photograph or screenshot. It runs on the web, on iPhone and Android, and as a Chrome and Edge extension that says it works on Canvas, Blackboard, Moodle and Google Classroom. It shows answers with steps; its pages do not say it enters or submits them. Silent Student, which we make, is a Mac and Windows app that works and submits whole Canvas assignments.
Disclosure: we make Silent Student. We did not run Solvely on a live assignment; its facts come from solvely.ai, its extension page, its Chrome Web Store listing and its App Store listing. Checked .

What is Solvely?
Solvely’s homepage calls it “The AI study tool trusted by 10M+ students from 5,000+ universities worldwide,” and its FAQ describes an app that combines homework solutions, notes, flashcards, quizzes and exam predictions. The App Store listing says “Multiple AI models work together to cross-check each answer” and lists math, sciences, humanities and test prep. The site’s tools include a Homework Solver, Mock Exam, Cheatsheet and AI Note Taker, and its tools list also includes an AI Humanizer and an AI Detector.
The figures on Solvely’s pages are its own: “97% Overall Accuracy” on the homepage, “98% Accurate” and “Solvely’s AI is 30% more accurate than ChatGPT” on the extension page. We found no published method behind them on those pages, and we have not tested Solvely. Solvely’s own FAQ adds: “we still recommend verifying with your textbook or teacher for formal assignments.” Silent Student makes no AI-detector claims of any kind.
Is Solvely legit?
It is a real product from a real company. The Chrome Web Store listing names the developer as Aignite Inc., gives a Wilmington, Delaware address and a D-U-N-S number, and says the developer has identified itself as a trader under EU rules. The App Store lists the same company as seller. On October 20, 2026, the extension showed 100,000 users, a 4.5 rating from 204 ratings, and version 0.8.5, updated that day.
Legit is a different question from allowed. The listing says the extension handles “User activity” and “Website content,” so read its privacy policy, and your school’s rules decide whether AI help is permitted on a given assignment.
Does Solvely work on Canvas?
Its extension page says so: “The browser extension works with Canvas, Blackboard, Moodle, and Google Classroom.” On Canvas, it says, you “capture a question on Canvas, get a step-by-step explanation, and continue studying without copying content between tabs.” That is a screenshot-and-answer workflow inside the tab you have open. Solvely’s pages describe no step where it types an answer into Canvas or presses Submit, so entering and submitting stay with you. Our Canvas quiz extensions page compares it with other in-page tools, and Best AI for Canvas covers the rest.
Is there a Solvely app for PC or Mac?
Not a separate desktop app. Solvely’s FAQ says “Solvely supports Web, iOS, Android, and Chrome/Edge extensions.” On a computer, you use solvely.ai in a browser or install the extension, whose listing gives shortcuts for both systems: Ctrl+Shift+S on macOS and Alt+Shift+S on Windows. The App Store also lists the iPhone app as running on a Mac “with Apple M1 chip or later” on macOS 12 or later.
How much does Solvely cost?
Solvely’s FAQ says it “offers a free version that includes basic homework help and study tools,” and the paid plan is called Solvely Unlimited. Its web pricing page did not load in our checks, so these prices are from the App Store’s in-app purchase list on October 20, 2026: Solvely Unlimited for 1 month at $12.99, Unlimited for 6 months at $38.99, All Year Access at $46.99, and a weekly plan at $6.99. Prices at web checkout may differ.

How each one works.
How Solvely works
You take a screenshot with the extension’s shortcut, or press One-Click Solve All, and Solvely shows answers with step-by-step explanations beside the page. On the web and phone apps you photograph or upload the problem. You then enter the answers yourself. Its listing says it can also summarize YouTube videos and web pages.

It works each assignment in due-date order, including quizzes, essays, discussions, uploads and the courseware they open. It enters answers and submits; drafts can wait for your review.
