A phone is too narrow for two panes, so the live browser slides up from the bottom when you want it.

A thin strip at the bottom shows what the agent is doing while you read the chat.

The browser takes the bottom half. You can watch the page and still see the newest messages.

Signing in is the one step the agent hands to you. You only do it once.
- When the agent reaches your school’s login page, a line appears at the top of the browser asking for you. Open the browser full screen and tap Take control. The agent pauses.
- Tap a box on the page, then tap Keyboard under the browser. The iPhone keyboard opens, and your typing goes into the page.
- Use a password app? Copy your password there, then tap the paste button next to Keyboard.
- If your school sends a code or a Duo push, approve it on your phone, then switch back to Safari.
- Tap Give back to agent. Your login is saved, encrypted, on our servers, so next time the agent signs in for you.
The cloud browser signs in from our servers, not from your phone’s network. Because of that, some sites may ask you to confirm the sign-in.
Lock your phone. It keeps going.
The agent runs on our servers, not on your iPhone. You can switch apps, answer a text or lock the screen, and the work goes on. When you come back to Safari, the chat catches up.
If it is waiting on you
When the agent stops to ask you something and nothing happens for about 10 minutes, the session closes. Your chat is kept, and you can start it again.
If you walk away holding control
If you take control and then leave it alone for 15 minutes, control goes back to the agent. It waits until you tell it to continue.
Put it on your Home Screen.
- Open app.silentstudent.com in Safari.
- Tap the Share button at the bottom of the screen.
- Tap Add to Home Screen, then Add.
Now it opens from its own icon, like an app. Chrome on iPhone works too.
